Penis Weights and Pumps
Every man has heard of the penis enlargement pump. They are so common place now, that it is not even seen as a sexual novelty. Pumps started appearing on the scene in the 70s. Using crude vaccuum techniques the pumps would stretch the skin of the penis, and increase the bloodflow to extreme levels to give the impression of the penis being "enlarged".
Pumps: Do they work? A penis pump is a cylinder placed around the penis with a hose that creates a suction. This draws blood into the penis, creating an erection and increases the size of the penis. The simple fact is that a pump will temporarily increase the size of your penis. However pumps can not affect the blood cells in the Corpus Cavernosa and the smaller chamber on the bottom of the penis: the Corpus Spongiosum. Because the pump can not break down these cells, the only thing that will stretch on the penis is the skin. This does not create a permanent gain in length or girth at all. Men can pump for 10 years and never achieve true gains. Pumps are also dangerous because the nerves risk being damaged with too much pressure.
Pumps have been said to help with impotency problems in men. However it is not the BEST tool for the job. If you're buying for impotency AND length, you want a different product. If you've been prescribed a pump to solve impotency and that's all you want it for, then you're fine.

Weights: They make sense! You would think weights would be the right alternative to the pump. It only seems logical! However you'd be wrong in assuming that. Weights are very risky, even more so than a pump due to the strain on the penis. Ruptures are much easier to cause when you use weights. Using weights is very dangerous because:
- Even though the length may increase over a long period of time, the thickness of the penis is actually decreased.
- Depending upon the hanging device, blood circulation is actually decreased which can cause necrosis (death) of the tissue.
- Circulation will be cut off to the head of the penis in this process likely causing marks and swelling.
- Feeling and sensation in the penis may be lost with this technique from the circulation being cut off as well.
- Hanging up to 20 lb. of weight on your penis may cause permanent nerve damage.
- It will create poor penile health, preventing proper penile use.
These are facts that weight companies won't tell you. They all have very good insurance to protect themselves though just in case customers lose sensation forever. Could you imagine trying to enlarge your penis only to find that you've lost sensitivity all around and will no longer enjoy sex like you used to? No thanks, I'll pass! |
